We are keeping our praise and thankfulness at the forefront of out thoughts this month.

Enter into His gates with Thanksgiving

and into His courts with Praise;

be Thankful to Him

and Bless His Name. Psalm 100:4

We are invited, or commanded, by God, our Creator; our Redeemer, to offer our praise. He allows us to enter into His Gates and Courts: let's us approach Him: as we praise, giving thanks, and as joy fills every heart, and songs burst from every tongue: Bless, Bless His name! In the Jewish church, the gates and courts of God's house became the nearest place the Gentiles were permitted to approach, in their sacred worship: But you and I, poor Gentiles by nature, and sinners by practice, are permitted to enter into the Holy of Holies, by the Blood of Jesus. We are actually commanded to come, and find grace to help in all time of need. Think of the vast privilege of being allowed to come before the God of all creation and praise Him for His glory. It is in His name and righteousness we can come, and by whose rich redemption such blessings are made ours.
